HALIFAX'S veteran stand off Graham Holroyd admits Matt Calland's squad have been "bugged" by their lack of TV exposure in 2008.
Holroyd and his teammates are the only National League One side yet to feature in front of the Sky cameras - despite competing at the top of the ladder since the competition kicked off.
That drought comes to an end at the Shay a week on Thursday, when Neil Kelly's Leigh roll into town.
"We are the only team who still have to play on Sky and we can't wait," said Holroyd.
"It's been bugging the players a little bit, to be honest.
"You look at the schedule on a Thursday and teams like Salford and Widnes seem to have been on every week.
"But we're an entertaining football team that deserves a little bit of exposure.
"We showed that last Friday at Salford and I'm sure we'll show it against Leigh too."
Fax will be aiming to bounce back against the Centurions after having to settle for a bonus point - and a step back to second place - when they lost their top two clash with the Reds 30-24, despite a sensational comeback that saw them level at 24-24 after being 24-0 down inside the opening half hour.
"We came back and had them on the ropes and who knows, with a bit more composure, we would have had a chance to win the game," said Holroyd, a former Salford player who still lives in the city.
"It's just a matter of being clinical - maybe we were a little bit tight in the shoulders and snatched at a couple of passes - but I still think we can beat anyone in this league.
"It's one of those things that happens and as long as we learn from it it's not going to hurt our season too much.
"They are a full time team and we took them all the way and probably edged it in parts.
"If we'd been a bit smarter in the last couple of minutes, built a bit more pressure, then they might have cracked.
"But it was a good occasion, with a lot of fans travelling over from Halifax, and it was probably a good night for rugby league too."

it was a great fight back, if only fax could have put points on the board in the first quarter with all the pressure the had would have been a different game , would have helped if the ref played a level game too,

The lack of coverage is a farce. It'll be great to hear the commentators justify it. Dewsbury vs Batley or whoever it was over us? Crazy.

Methinks the words ' hidden and agenda' come to mind re Super Duper League exposure for the hopefulls/probables-which we obviously arent I'm afraid at this time!
Never mind watching Fax this year has been a pleasure with some great rugby played and a team that obviously wants to tough it out for each other-eg Leigh away/ Widnes away and Salford.

Quite right Buddy H. Sky are a bunch of shortsighted winkers.
BTW, don't go up in any light aircraft.

Sky and their commentators show a very strong Lancashire bias. Yorkshire clubs are overlooked unless they happen to be playing the likes of St Helens, Wigan, Salford, Widnes etc and are then looked on as underdogs.
How good it would be for Fax to put one over Leigh for all to see. Come on you blues.
