HALIFAX's next opponents Leigh scored twice in the final two minutes to finally beat a determined Sheffield 42-22 at Hilton Park as they scrap to keep in touch with the Co-operative National League One pack.
Despite out-scoring the visitors by eight tries to three, Leigh were not able to relax until late scores by Adam Higson and Lee Doran.

Full-back Johnny Woodcock led the way for Sheffield with a try and five goals and with only a few minutes remaining his side trailed by just eight points. Grant Edwards and James Ford also touched down for the Eagles.
Leigh visit the Shay in a Sky TV game on Thursday, July 10.
Whitehaven held off a spirited Dewsbury display in a scrappy game to win 24-16 at the Recreation Ground.
The home side led for most of the match but struggled to shake off the Rams, who picked up a valuable bonus point.
The visitors took the lead in the first 10 minutes through a Liam Finn penalty but Graeme Mattinson scored a try for Haven which was converted by Tane Manihera.
Craig Calvert and Greg McNally scored tries either side of the break and after Ryan Smith crossed for the away side - Finn converting - Spencer Miller finally ended Dewsbury's comeback hopes.
Opportunist substitute Kevin Eadie scored the winning try for Featherstone just one minute from time as they overcame Batley 24-18.
In following up an Andy Kain grubber-kick to score he gave Featherstone the points and a possible lifeline from relegation.
The home side had lead 18-10 but Andy Kirk and Lee Lingard crossed before Eadie capped off a brilliant comeback.
In Division Two, full-back Paul O'Connor scored a hat-trick of tries in a man-of-the-match performance as Oldham stretched their winning sequence to five games in a top-of-the-table clash against Gateshead at Sedgley Park.
