GREETLAND Goldstars under 11s put last weeks shock defeat behind them with a fine 4-1 win against 3D Dynamos - their first success of the Huddersfield League season.
A good move down the right saw Rahees Ahmed deliver a cross in behind the back four and Shane Kenyon was first to react, chipping the ball over the keeper.

Dynamos drew level with a well driven shot that beat Greetland keeper Gibson.

Both teams created chances but neither managed to gain a lead before the break.

The opening 10 minutes of the second half saw Dynamos enjoy a good spell and it needed some good recovery tackles and luck to keep them out.

Greetland reacted and Kenyon added to his first half goal following a scramble in the box after which a great pass found Ahmed who unleashed a fierce shot past the keeper before Kenyon completed his hat-trick after following in when the keeper spilled a shot.

Greetland Goldstars Stars picked up their first win of the season with a 3-0 victory away at Crossley Swifts.

After a good start from the home side, the Stars took control and opened the scoring through Alex Dean.

They were two up soon after, Ethan Mason jinking through from halfway before firing over the keeper.

Dean and Sean Gabbitas came close to adding a third before Brendan Smith made a brilliant save for the Swifts from Adam Bairstow's shot.

The Stars grabbed the third their play deserved midway through the second half, Gabbitas crossing for Bairstow to fire home.

HAFC under 16s got their season back on track with a 4-3 victory over Northowram at Old Earth.

Both teams played fast open football and it came as no surprise when the Northowram winger opened the scoring with a shot from the edge of the box.

This spurred HAFC on but they saw no reward until the 20 minute mark when Anthony Wadsworth worked hard to create an opening before slotting the ball home.

Northowram worked hard to regain their lead but HAFC stood firm with Alistair Johnstone and Joe Waterhouse to the fore. Just before half time HAFC took the lead through Wadsworth.

The second half saw Northowram press for an equaliser.
