SIDDAL under 14s kept up their recent good form in the Premier Division with a fine 56-14 sucess at Sheffield Hillsborough Hawks.
The home side hit the front with a converted try but Siddal hit back with Josh Casey powering over from 40 yards for the first of his four tries after which Louis Nicholl found a gap to give Siddal the lead.

Sheffield almost hit back before Adrian
Ostrawski powered over for the first of his three tries then Edwin Okanga practically walked through the defence, and Casey finished the first half scoring with his second.

Okanga was in fine form with the boot, converting all five tries to give Siddal a 30-6 interval lead.

Siddal continued the onslaught in the second half when Casey scored his third and fourth tries, and Ostrawski grabbed another two to complete his hat trick after some neat Jamie Holroyd passes.

Some crunching tackles by Oliver Roberts helped Siddal regain the ball and it paved the way for a lovely Nicholl offload to the speedy Leon Michaelides to complete Siddal's try scoring with Okanga kicking three goals.

Siddal switched off at the end and let Sheffield in for two quickfire tries.

Ovenden put in a spirited performance, but the inexperience of some of the new faces took its toll in a 40-10 home defeat by West Bowling.

Ovenden started the game with just 11 men and were 6-0 behind within the first two minutes.

Five minutes into the game Ovenden lost loose forward Charlie Birchall to injury leaving them with 10 men.
