Does anybody think it's about time these so called "Road Legal" Quad Bikes were taken off the road. i saw that same bike along with ther speeding arround in the town centre going at least 50mph in bull green over the weekend, and knew it was only a matter of time before someone was going to get hurt and yesterday was that day...

I agree with RIP, these Quad bike things should be banned. They like many things are not dangerous in themselves, but the type of person to drive them is seeking thrills.
Drive them by all means, but not on the public highways. It is so sad that this innocent lady has had her life ended in this way.

Quad bikes should not be aloud on the road if you ask me. They are designed for off road use and should remain to be used in that way. I was preying that the lady didnt die and was shocked to read she has this morning. This is a lesson to all that ride Quads - They have poor handling and you wear no protection when your on them so it only a matter of time before you kill yourself or someone! If you want the thrill and to be a little safer get a motorbike..

morning all. Hu Rarr RIP. Yes I think the quads are noisy senseless and better left for restricted off road areas or private land. Although on this occasion wasn't there a vhehicle involved too. A real tradegy for the innocent victim.

oh i see. right. I can't defende quads on the road anyway. I've been overtaken by them and had them right up my rear... they are a right pain and damn noisy too. Even if the taxi was at some fault, it would not have happenned had the quad not been on the road. I don't see the attraction in them myself. What do these people do for a living that they can afford one and drive it about during the day??
