House appeal lodged

AN appeal has been lodged after Calderdale Council issued an enforcement notice claiming a house and garage were built without planning permission.
Mr M Vento had permission to build the detached property and garage at Sycamore View, Brighouse, but the council deemed the actual building different in design, appearance, size and location from the original plans.
Retrospective permission was then refused in March with the council claiming the development overshadowed other properties and was overbearing. Afterwards an enforcement notice was served.
Now Mr Vento has appealed the decision.
