PRIMARY school children took to the ring with a new kick-boxing class.
And with the teachers getting involved too, troublemakers had better watch out.

The new class at Beech Hill Primary School, Halifax, saw more than 30 pupils and staff put through their paces by kickboxing coach Jenny Powell.

Head teacher Jonathan Moss, who also took part, said: "Everybody was so excited and it just went brilliantly.

"We are trying to introduce children to new sports and they took to it really well.

"I think we could have a few future Olympic champions on our hands.

"The staff proved pretty handy as well and I thought I had better learn to protect myself at some point."

The classes are being held every week along with table tennis and gymnastics.

As a MOTHER I am perfectly capable of ensuring that my daughter knows when and where to practice her fight skills. Anyhow hellfire, it hardly merits drive by shooting does it? Relax its just a sport!

Oh dear! Girls should be taught? Im glad her boxing instructor isnt as sexist as you! Mind you I suppose then we could just blame the boys for the criminal activity in later life due to kick boxing classes!
