FOURTEEN walkers set themselves a stiff challenge when they attempted to cover 26 miles and the Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales in under 12 hours.
But all were successful and now the Elland Anchormen, a performing arts group, is £2,000 richer from sponsorship.
The Anchormen are based at the Savage Centre, Eastgate, which is also home to Reactiv Media.
Company managing director Tony Abbott and digital manager Tony Lees are both also involved in running the Anchormen.
Mr Lees finished in 11 hours 37 minutes and admitted covering the peaks of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough was hard.
"It was a difficult challenge and quite gruesome," he said.
"What I thought was a very long walk quickly turned into a tough mental and physical challenge including the blisters!
"It was a very rewarding experience to have completed knowing the kids are going to reap the benefits of the money raised."
The Anchormen provide access to performing arts, primarily in music and dance.
