THREE men have appeared in court after two gunpoint burglaries in two days in Halifax.
Shakeel Ahmed, 24, of Milton Place, King Cross, Halifax, Mohammed Shamraiz, 21, and Samir Ahmed, 28, both of Gladstone Road, King Cross, are charged with two counts of aggravated burglary over the raids, during which an imitation firearm was used.

Calderdale magistrates sent the men for a preliminary hearing at Bradford Crown Court on December 8.

There were no bail applications and all three were remanded in custody.

The burglaries were at houses in Savile Park Road and Moorlands View last Wednesday and Thursday.
