NEARLY 200 guests enjoyed a glamorous evening of dinner and dancing to help raise cash for a school sports hall.
Former England rugby union star Brian Moore and two of the original Calendar Girls were the speakers at the Crossley Heath Grammar School fund raiser at The Venue, Bowers Mill in Barkisland.

Television star Paul Opacic was MC for the night which included dinner, a raffle, auction and a disco.

Executive leader for business and community at Crossley Heath School Debbie Parkinson said: "We really appreciate the support of everyone who was there.

"There was a great mix of people and it was an enjoyable night."
She said the event raised around £4,000. The money will go towards the school's plans to build a new £2.3m sports hall.
