A dog has gone missing from his York home after using a trampoline for his getaway.
Intrepid Staffordshire Bull Terrier Harvey was left in his owner Laura Kidson's garden last Friday but the crafty canine made his bid for freedom by using the children's plaything while her back was turned.

Mum-of-two Laura, 27, said Harvey was a much-loved pet and daughter Chloe Beattie, four, was desperate to have her home.

She said: "He couldn't get over the fence on his own and must have used the

trampoline to bounce himself into my neighbour's garden and got out.

"He's something of an escape artist and has got out before, we were just starting to think he had stopped all that.

"We have phoned the police and the council dog warden but no-one has seen or heard of him and we're getting desperate."
