Former Halifax boss looks set to become new Hartlepool manager
Former FC Halifax Town manager Pete Wild is reportedly set to become the new boss at National League side Hartlepool United.
Wild was in charge at The Shay from 2019 to 2022, twice guiding them into the play-offs and has since managed Barrow, Fleetwood and Tranmere in League Two, but has been out of work since the end of last season.

Hartlepool appointed Lee Clark as their manager this summer but have had a poor start to the season and are 21st in the table with just nine points from 11 games, with Clark resigning on September 19.
Journalist Robbie Stelling, who covers Hartlepool for The Monkey’s Uncle website, is reporting that Hartlepool are closing in on the appointment of Wild as their new head coach.
